Tramex CME4 Concrete Encounter Moisture Meter

Designed to accurately measure moisture levels in concrete and other building materials. The Concrete Encounter 4 Moisture Meter is a reliable and user-friendly device that provides precise readings, ensuring that your constructions are sound and durable. The Tramex CME4 is a single-unit, boasting a straightforward design that is both robust and efficient. This moisture meter is an invaluable asset for verifying moisture in concrete slabs.

The meter operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmit a low-frequency signal into the concrete floor to a depth of approx. 12.5mm (0.5 inch). While concrete under normal conditions can never be completely dry, the instrument has been calibrated on acceptably dry material. In operation it compares the change in impedance caused by the presence of dampness and displays this on a clear, easy to read analogue dial.

  • Non-destructive in operation

  • Reproducible results

  • Instant readings

  • No need to probe or drill of mechanically damage the surface

  • Clear, easy to read analogue dial

  • Strong, robust, electrodes and body

  • Battery operated

  • Safe and Sound Pro mmWave Meter

  • Safe and Sound Pro EM3 Meter
